His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, received yesterday at Qasr Al Watan Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the Emirates Council for Legal Fatwa, and members of the Council.
His Highness was briefed on the work and plans of the “Emirates Fatwa Council” aimed at spreading the tolerant values of Islam and establishing a culture of coexistence and tolerance in the UAE and around the world, in line with the directives of the wise leadership and its wise vision in this field.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the pioneering role played by the “Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa” in introducing our true religion, promoting human brotherhood and spreading the values of solidarity and synergy between peoples of different religions and cultures, wishing His Highness to the Chairman of the Council and those in charge of it success in all their tasks and work.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Dari, Director of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa, Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Haddad, Director of the Ifta Department at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, and a number of council members and officials.
